Last Updated: October 25, 2026

Welcome to Schtager Canada. By accessing our website, purchasing services, scheduling an inspection, or engaging Schtager Canada for professional pest-management services, you agree to the following Terms of Service, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

Please review these terms before making a purchase or booking an appointment.

Service Area: Toronto and selected Greater Toronto Area communities, Ontario, Canada.

2. Scope of Services

Our services may include:

  • Rodent control and exclusion
  • Crawling insect pest proofing
  • General pest-control treatments
  • Bed bug inspections and treatments
  • Structural entry-point identification and sealing
  • Preventive pest-management programmes
  • Residential and commercial pest inspections
  • Other services expressly offered on our website or in an approved quotation

Service availability depends on property conditions, location, technician availability, and applicable licensing or regulatory requirements.

3. Online Inspection Bookings

Certain inspections may be purchased directly through our Shopify website.

Unless otherwise stated on the applicable product page, the standard professional pest-proofing inspection fee is CA$100, before any applicable taxes.

The inspection fee covers the inspection and assessment described in the purchased service listing.

Payment for an inspection does not include pest-proofing installation, rodent exclusion repairs, structural sealing, additional pest treatments, or other services unless specifically stated.

An online purchase constitutes a request for the purchased service. Appointment dates and times are confirmed separately by Schtager Canada unless an integrated scheduling system provides explicit confirmation.

4. Inspection Findings and Quotations

Following an inspection, Schtager Canada may provide an official quotation identifying:

  • Recommended services
  • Proposed exclusion or treatment methods
  • Materials and labour
  • Applicable pricing and taxes
  • Scope limitations
  • Anticipated scheduling
  • Any applicable workmanship warranty or follow-up provisions

Additional chargeable work requires customer approval before commencement.

Customers are not obligated to accept quotations for services recommended following a paid inspection.

Unless expressly stated in writing, inspection fees are separate from subsequent service charges.

5. Pricing and Payment

Prices displayed on Schtager.ca are in Canadian dollars (CAD), unless otherwise specified.

Applicable taxes and any additional disclosed charges will be identified before purchase.

We reserve the right to update published prices for future purchases.

A confirmed purchase will be governed by the pricing and terms applicable to that transaction, subject to applicable law.

For separately quoted work, payment schedules and amounts will be specified in the approved quotation or service agreement.

6. Appointment Scheduling and Property Access

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate contact and service-address information
  • Confirming appointment availability
  • Ensuring appropriate access to agreed inspection or treatment areas
  • Disclosing known property hazards and relevant restrictions
  • Following reasonable preparation instructions communicated before service
  • Obtaining permission from owners, landlords, property managers, or condominium corporations where required

If safe or authorized access is unavailable, Schtager Canada may need to reschedule the service, subject to the cancellation policy and applicable law.

7. Pest-Control Treatment Conditions

Pest-control services are provided according to the identified pest, property conditions, applicable product labels, and relevant regulatory requirements.

Customers must follow all preparation, access, ventilation, re-entry, and post-treatment instructions supplied for their service.

Some infestations may require multiple treatments, follow-up visits, environmental corrections, or ongoing monitoring.

A single treatment does not guarantee complete or permanent elimination of every pest population.

Any service-specific guarantees or follow-up commitments will be described in the applicable written agreement.

8. Rodent Proofing and Structural Exclusion

Rodent and crawling insect proofing services focus on identifying and correcting accessible entry points and structural vulnerabilities within the agreed scope of work.

Services may include compatible sealing materials, metal mesh, weatherstripping, protective barriers, and selected minor repairs.

The scope does not automatically include major construction, roofing, electrical work, plumbing repairs, or inaccessible structural areas.

Exclusion measures reduce pest entry opportunities but cannot guarantee that a property will remain permanently pest-free.

Where active rodent infestations exist, separate control or monitoring measures may be recommended.

9. Customer Responsibilities and Safety

Customers agree to communicate relevant property information and comply with reasonable safety and preparation requirements.

Schtager Canada may suspend or reschedule services if conditions create unacceptable risks to technicians, occupants, animals, or the property.

Where work involves chemical pest-control products, all applicable safety instructions and restrictions must be followed.

10. Service Completion and Workmanship

Services will be performed according to the approved scope of work and applicable professional standards.

Any workmanship warranty, follow-up visits, exclusions, or service-specific commitments must be expressly stated in writing.

Unless otherwise agreed, additional work outside the approved scope requires a separate quotation.

Customers should promptly notify Schtager Canada of concerns regarding completed work so the matter can be assessed.

Nothing in these terms limits statutory rights or remedies available to customers.

11. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds

Appointment cancellation and refund requests are governed by our published Return, Refund & Service Cancellation Policy, together with applicable consumer protection requirements.

Customers may contact Schtager Canada by telephone or email to request cancellation or rescheduling.

Any late-cancellation, missed-appointment, or attendance charges must be disclosed and agreed to in advance and must comply with applicable law.

Where Schtager Canada cannot provide a prepaid service and no suitable alternative is agreed upon, a refund will be arranged in accordance with applicable requirements.

12. Website Content and Intellectual Property

Unauthorized commercial reproduction or use of protected content is prohibited, except as permitted by law.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the website.

14. Privacy and Personal Information

Customer information collected through our website, online checkout, inspection requests, and service communications is handled according to our published Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.

Payment processing may be provided through Shopify and supported payment providers.

Please review our Privacy Policy for information concerning personal-information collection, use, disclosure, and customer rights.

15. Limitations and Applicable Law

Schtager Canada will provide its services with reasonable care and skill, consistent with the agreed service scope and applicable law.

We are not responsible for pre-existing structural damage, concealed conditions, or work performed by unrelated third parties solely because those conditions are discovered during an inspection.

Any allocation of responsibility is subject to applicable contractual obligations, consumer protection requirements, and other laws.

Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes, restricts, or waives consumer rights, remedies, or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Ontario and Canada, without limiting mandatory legal protections available to consumers.

16. Changes to These Terms

Schtager Canada may revise these Terms of Service periodically.

Updated terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.

Changes will not retroactively alter an existing agreement except where permitted by law or agreed upon by the parties.
